    It's a secret ballot.

How far left are we already when Trump's corporate buddies feed at the trough of the US Treasury on bailout millions? Not that we'll get it with Biden, but some Scandinavian style honest government even with a tougher tax policy would be a tremendous tonic to a Trump economy that is organized on the principles of Post-Soviet Cronyism. Trump picks corporate winners and losers in the economy based on how nice or mean the CEOs are to *him*. If you don't think there are 1,000,000 ways we can improve on this, you're fooling yourself.

IF Post-Soviet Cronyism was what created the booming economy before Chinkflu brought it to a standstill, what's the problem?

If I posted 3 you'd ZZZZZ out after two.

I'm waiting for you to explain the diff between Soros and Adelson.

But here's two ways to improve the economy post-Trump:

          1. Trump's scattershot approach to tariffs hurts the economy. Not only do Americans pay the tariffs in higher costs, Trump snarls business planning with his impulsive acts, which hurts investment . It's a fact--who is going to build a new plant, when the viability of that plant depends on whether Trump changes his mind?

          2. Trump's approach to regulation is done with an eye towards quick profits over long term stability. He naturally sympathizes with the fly-by-nights who try to get into hot markets, make a killing, then get out, leaving behind whatever mess they do. Responsible companies, taking the long view for themselves, their workers, are penalized comparatively speaking.

Two examples of this include the medical PPE marketplace, and fuel economy standards.

Now you owe me a comparison between Soros and Adelman in that other thread.

          Booming economy??

Debt fueled. A bubble. The bigger the bubble, the bigger the pop.

Two neighbors, adjacent identical houses. One house, decent income, living within means, savings going up. The other living by rolling over debt, month after month, the balance owed ever increasing. Which is more prosperous? Some debt is good. We're living in the land of the Debt King now.

Who says so? You, the economist? Highest employment rate in 50 yrs a bubble???

We're now living not in the land of the Debt King but the Debt Congress. Small employers have been complaining for months that even though they've been allowed to reopen, they can't because their former employees are making more by staying at home, collecting their $600/mo unemployment bonus, then they can by working--which they'd be crazy not to do. So now the Dems are demanding that this bonus be EXTENDED.

CH: corporate debt, from a decade of low rates. National debt. All carried over from the great recession. In Clinton's booming economy tax receipts went UP in relative terms, for awhile actual BUDGET SURPLUSES, PAYING DOWN THE DEBT. In the reign of the Debt King, deficits go up. Check the numbers for yourself.

Trump throws a party on the national credit card, for someone else to pick up the tab. It's his way.

Good God Ray you don't know who Sheldon Adelson is?

And you haven't paid attention to how Trump plays the tariff game? Or what he's done with regulations?

You have no business voting for him then.

Now they want to take down the Marine Corps Memorial. They say Raising the Flag on Aunt Jemima is racist.
