NAFTA is gone. The new trade agreement leans more in favor of the U.S. and indirectly funds the wall.

Funny thing about USCMA.....Trump stopped woofing about it when Pelosi started crowing that they had negotiated details to it in order to get it to pass the house. The devil is always in the details. And no, Mexico isn't funding the wall, and no, the base doesn't do nuance like that, unless they are backing up.

BTW, the Trump recovery is built on top of the Obama expansion, yes? Before the Covid f*ckup, how could Trump claim "the longest recovery in the history of the country" when he was in office not even 3 years, unless he is building on the Obama recovery? In any case it's ancient history now. The Trump Depression, originally forecast to hit in his second term, is upon us.

Bats are about 1/4 of mammalian species, and they're increasing because in general they can deal with humans in ways that top predators like tigers cannot. China has many bat species, and that part of China is especially rich with bats. Bats also have a peculiar physiology in which they harbor many viruses that do not kill them. It therefore makes sense to study them and the pathogens they contain. It does not make sense for China to have unsanitary live markets, but that's China for you.

If Obama had people in Wuhan studying viruses of bats, to try to understand the dangers therein, good for them.
