What with the Chinaflu forcing States to close businesses, order
people to lock themselves in their homes and causing chaos in
general - plus widespread looting, rioting and arson in notably
democrat run Cities. If you include the growing military threat
posed by China, then the combination of the above could easily
be termed a National crisis, and as such, stability in government
would be a great plus. Changing Horses midstream is an old but
common sense caution, so too perhaps would be the changing of
a President in the midst of a war like scenario.
One drawback to this idea is that the present day voter is nowhere
near as smart as was the voter who chose to stay with FDR in 44.

Ray it's called Leadership. Trump is not shy about using the bully pulpit on sports leagues, democratic governors, mayors, corporations. He could tell the base "come on people, we gotta take this seriously." But when his own administration chooses to focus on the economy instead of the virus, they miss the fact that they have it backwards. Virus first, THEN economy!!!!!!! Because if the virus is running loose, stuff can't stay open!!!!!!!!!
