History is always in the eye of the beholder, and usually told by the victors. We don't know who is going to win this campaign. As I said, smashing stuff does carry a risk of alienating public opinion, and some of it is yes, unvarnished criminality taking advantage of the situation. But injuring people, in the case of Mask-Free Nation, also alienates people. As for terrorism, the only people truly terrorized are the white supremacists like yourself, who fear that as low status whites, they might be the losers in some kind of long-overdue shakeup of the nation's racial hierarchies.

Speaking of campaigns, and victors, living as you do in the Mohawk valley, you may not realize it, but you are in one of the richest historical regions of the Revolutionary War. In the late 1770's the British tried to split New England, which they wrote off as a lost cause, from the rest of the colonies, with New York as the gap. It was not a genteel affair, with militias, natives, regular troops, civilians all getting involved.
