Many people new to protection firearms have bought during anti gun administrations, also casual users.
Citizens should be seeing that govt, police, military, administrations are not able to protect them. And worse, might be against the lawful citizen.
Perhaps, some might think that confiscation is the proper and effective path.
I wonder if citizens will just roll over and let confiscation happen. Australia and New Zealand threatened gun owners to register or else. Apparently % who did comply was low. Apparently, Democratic leadership think a big stick will work. Or, it is just a way to manipulate their followers. If you are afraid of people w guns, then vote Dem.
I wonder if populace in anti gun states believe the state stance on guns? Comments?
EDIT: Fox had article wondering if new buyers will change dynamics. Fox states usa 330 million pop, and 400 million guns. 19 million new purchases in first 6 months of 2020. Possibly, there are 3 million purchases by new gun buyers which are from moderate middle class, some liberals, and minorities. So, 16 million purchases by previous gun owners. Some would have been buying or upgrading defensive and ccw specific firearms.
