Sanders: Must First Elect Biden, Then Keep Pushing Country Further Left

Sanders: We Must First Elect Biden, Then Keep Pushing Country Further Left.....

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) said on Sunday that his supporters should elect presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden so they can keep pushing the country further to the left.

"We're going to do everything that we can to elect Biden and—after he's elected—move this country in as progressive a way as we possibly can," Sanders said on CNN's State of the Union.

He added that such lobbying would include his signature Medicare for All health care policy proposal, among other left-wing measures.

Joe Biden, who is also considered a "moderate," said last week that he intends to have "the most progressive administration since FDR."

Well so much for Biden being a tool of the left if Bernie is pointing out the size of the job, moving Biden leftward.

Medicare for all is a bad idea, both policy-wise and politically. People love to hate their insurance company, so getting the Federal government further into that business is a bad idea. Plus then the healthier parts of the country end up subsidizing the sicker parts.

With the trillions of dollars tacked on to the national debt during these last 4 years of corporate socialism, Bernie's green new deal must be about printing more money to pay for it all.

This country needs a serious checkbook balancing.
