We've been through this. You're prepared to tolerate whatever levels of fraud and theft are necessary to secure Republican wins, rationalized by a belief that the other side is as bad or worse. Actual evidence or lack thereof of misconduct by the other side or any sense of proportion just gets in the way. If some official found a way to purge the voter rolls in blue districts and make it stick, you would be fine with it and not concern yourself with the details. Republicans winning is the only thing that matters. How they win is immaterial. When legality us no longer a concern, the appearance of legality takes on outsized importance, which is where things are today with the Republican Party.

The referral went through the system and DC federal prosecutors either declined to send it to a Grand Jury or decided not to pursue it. The DC prosecutors were Obama appointees and the AG was Sessions, not a Trump supporter. If it went to a Grand Jury there was no bill, in either case it failed muster when looked at.
