Professor Prohibits Students from Criticizing Abortion, and Black Lives

College brain washing! Professor Prohibits Students Criticizing Abortion, Black Lives Matter and she will dismiss students from her class if they argue against abortion or the Black Lives Matter movement

Iowa State University professor Chloe Clark released a syllabus for a 200-level English class instructing students that they cannot argue against abortion, Black Lives Matter, and a number of other left wing causes. It includes a "GIANT WARNING" that contradicting certain viewpoints may result in dismissal from class.

"Any instances of othering … are grounds for dismissal from the classroom,"

The School says the policy violates the First Amendment and responded and said that after reviewing this issue with the faculty member, the syllabus has been corrected to ensure it is consistent with university policy. Moreover, the faculty member is being provided additional information regarding the First Amendment policies of the university.

A university professor said she will dismiss students from her class if they argue against gay marriage, abortion, or the Black Lives Matter movement.

    Incorrect, Ray

She wasn't banning criticism, just the more weapons-free, vile rant versions of it, like what Clintonhater spouts. As it is, the University told her that she has to dial it back a bit.

Per her policy, calling Trump a worthless POS and murderer of hundreds of thousands of Americans would have been an example of "othering" too.

It's a fair question whether or not she would have enforced her policy in the case of anti-Trump rants. However the University made her change the policy, so now "BLM sucks" and "Trump sucks worse" debates are fair game in her classroom.

    Sleep well!

I actually went on the web to get the non biased view. What you posted was a distortion. It was the manner of criticism, not the subject, that was subject to restriction. Your web site confused the two because they want to talk about BLM in only the most incendiary terms.

Applying that restriction to the Dems would leave them with nothing else to say.

                Is this a lie?

"a university spokeswoman called Clark's syllabus "inconsistent" with the school's commitment to students' First Amendment rights. She also confirmed that the syllabus has been changed and that Clark has received additional information regarding Iowa State's First Amendment policies."
