    USPS Decoy Testimony

    Interesting list of "swing" states.

Louis DeJoy testified today that more than 600 mail sorting machines removed by USPS under his leadership won't be reinstalled. That includes:

    59 in FL
    58 in TX
    34 in OH
    30 in PA
    26 in MI
    15 in NC
    12 in VA
    12 in WI
    11 in G

I didn't follow much of the news about the post office but what I am following is it appears the new leadership is trying to change how the PO operates and the rank and file and now Democrat's don't like it. One man who works for them said when they used to run a route they were done when they were done and it they stayed out late, that was what had to happen. Now its you have 8 hours to deliver the route and what doesn't get delivered gets held to the next day. I can see the resistance to this because it effects overtime and some people don't like change.

Does a UPS or FedEx driver bring back a half-full truck, full of packages tracking as "out for delivery", just because of the hands on the clock? No it does not happen!

Your example just proves the point that DeJoy is trying to torpedo the USPS, to deliberately create overflows that his old company can make $$ picking up, and to help Trump steal the election. What's it like cheering for the bad guys, when you know for a fact that is what they are?

I don't think removing sorting machines have a net positive effect on overtime and route improvements.

Wouldn't a plan of better automation be the appropriate response?

If the USPS is supposed to simply turn a profit. Removing every rural post office location would be the first logical step. Underperforming locations are holding them back.

            Disposition of usps sorting machines?

I read a thread that stated some of these , possibly million dollar ,sorting machines were being destroyed and dumped. I do not know if this is true.

But it IS a shining example of Your Government in Action. And the Democrats want more of it, intruding into more of our lives.

We get the mail. What else are they supposed to do?

No but for what it was, one could at least predict what was going to happen. They're taking that performance predictably away.

That last, I'll believe. He can stand around and drink coffee and scratch his unmentionables all morning.
