His point was that he's much more willing to take on black concerns than Trump. He did express regret over how he phrased it. Imagine, a leader admitting he's not perfect. In any event George Floyd's death washed that incident out long ago.

Steve Jobs (the apple Guy), once observed that mistakes are okay, because it means decisions are being made.
