RNC attendees attacked by BLM mob after left with NO police protection

RNC are attendees attacked by BLM mob after being left with NO police protection:

Elderly man is punched in the back of the head and knocked to the ground while balaclava-clad protester threatens to 'f*** up' RNC committeeman and his wife
Hundreds of activists gathered in the streets around the White House during the final day of the RNC as Hundreds of activists had gathered outside the White House to protest Trump's nomination acceptance speech, trying to drown it out with air horns and fireworks.

Those leaving the event were confronted, heckled, and in at least one case assaulted as they walked out, One man was filmed being punched in the back of the head and knocked to the ground, leaving him bloody

Protester threatened to 'f*** up' RNC committeeman Chris Ager and his wife as they tried to get into a hotel

While some videos showed some protesters scuffling with police, officers were completely absent in others

Ray the only way this stuff calms down nationally is if you get someone else in the Oval Office. The protestors aren't going to listen to Trump. All he has are boots and barrels, which if we have learned anything this summer, they only make it worse. Unless you mean to go full Red China on the cities. Even then there are too many illegal guns out there for it to work. That last bit....a huge irony that neither liberals or conservatives fully appreciate yet.

You are setting up Biden's closing argument for him.

Only when they're used defensively, & half-heartedly, as in Portland, where they're merely there to stop fed buildings from being torched, & the terrorists can attack them with impunity, & run away when they tired of throwing bricks & Molotovs. If streets were blocked off so the terrorists couldn't escape & every one hauled off to a federal prison, it would soon end these riots. REAL policing hasn't even been tried.

So you say we should surrender the country to the rioters and people causing all this damage...

Last time I checked ordinary black folks and their white allies weren't planning on taking over the country. They just want the cops to stop acting like combat infantrymen in enemy-held territory. Why is that wrong?

Democratic mayors want the out of town anarchists to stop too. Have you noticed that? Have you noticed how 2 or 3 days after the incident, the violence peaks? Travel time for those who want to use some town as the location for the next engagement. You're trying to run your city, your revenues are way down because of Covid, the cops shoot someone, it's caught on video and looks bad, and the next thing you know, sh*theads from around the country are flowing in to take sides. And the guy in the Oval Office, instead of trying to calm things down, grabs his megaphone and takes sides in a way intended to amp things up. Leadership matters. Biden can use Trump's own actions against him, simply say that as President, he'll work with all sides to calm xxxx down, not inflame it. It's a credible message from this guy.

A critical examination of Grossman's pseudo-science of "killology". Cops as "killologists". Who wants that besides some seriously disturbed people?

Of the two candidates, Ray, which is more likely to get all sides to listen? Which is more likely to try? Trump needs conflict, needs enemies, to function. Biden does not.

What would you want TRUMP to do to calm things down?

WHO else but Togor would post a photo on this or any other gunboard of the greatest living threat to 2A rights??? HIS hero, our GREATEST ENEMY!

If this board was supervised as it should be, he would be BANNED for corrupting it with this poison.

What's the end game? There aren't enough cops, local, state, Federal, to occupy every city with protests, to enforce shoot-on-sight curfews indefinitely. So the end game has to be: grievances stated, grievances heard, changes made. Along with: strong enforcement action against those trying to inflame the situation. It won't go over well with CH to say this, but most protestors don't want mayhem in the streets, don't want it all burned down.

Trump could act like everyone's President by speaking to this end game, instead of focusing on just the base, and inflaming their desire to see protests smashed with state sanctioned violence (looking at you, CH).

Short answer....use the bully pulpit to tell everyone to just cool the f*ck down, and mean it. Base doesn't want to hear that, and he can't cross up the base, so there it is.

                But you asked.

Struck a nerve! You're no dummy. You too see the weakness in Trump's approach, and the appeal of Biden to all of those suburban housewives.

CH, putting the election aside for a moment, interested in your thoughts on Grossman and killology. As I recall, you were none to happy with the shooting of Philando Castile in Falcon Heights MN a few years back. Jury found the cop not-guilty, because under MN law he was allowed to shoot someone if he felt scared. That cop's actions were textbook killology, that fear and an automatic killing response (with no remorse) should be the central organizing principles for the LEO's life. Got any thoughts to share on that?

I've NEVER shown any sympathy for trigger-happy cowards in uniform, & plainly said shooting that POS in the back was inexcusable. Though the death of any social parasite makes the world a better place, the cop went about it the wrong way, & has hurt all cops by so doing.

Who knows then, maybe on the narrow subject of this fear-driven, warrior-cop mindset, we have agreement. Don't worry, not like we're pals now or anything.

So much for the myth of the "happy Trump supporter" that they pushed at the RNC.
