40 miles north of Kenosha, invited Pence to give a commencement speech. A bunch of alum objected in the open letter posted above, arguing Pence is the wrong man for the moment. Unclear to me if Pence withdrew or was uninvited, but he won't be giving the speech. He still gets to be Vice President though so it's all good. But for a guy who has such a strong emotional attachment to Christianity, it's a pity Pence couldn't have a moral one too. If he did then likely he's still headed to the podium.

Sounds like Jersey BS, that "a lot of people" are going to be in a position to get up just get up and walk away when the President is giving a speech. He speaks, he leaves, they leave. That's how it works in the traveling Secret Service security bubble. If you don't want to hear the President, don't come in the first place.
