Here, many states have mandated mask. Many more people are wearing them yet the virus numbers are increasing (if true). Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to determine that the mask are useless as suspected all along.

Having got that out of the way, there is no objective reason not to believe Covid numbers out of Europe, because Europe still uses the public health playbook that holds that getting accurate information to the public is part of how to make a case for policy. In other words, tell the TRUTH. Weird idea, huh?

The Wuhan lab stuff has been debunked, over and over and over again. Nature's own biolabs are 1,000,000,000 more active than anything mankind has built. Apparently someone needs to be a rocket surgeon to understand that, leaving you out. And speaking of rocket surgeons, if you were one, you would understand the strategy behind masks, that even a small benefit to the individual, when multiplied over a large population, produces a tangible benefit to a region. Having said that, their data is only as good as the data that they get from various countries. I tend to believe the data from the "western" countries including Australia and New Zealand and a few others with good government and good civil services. I am somewhat skeptical about some, not because they are or want to be dishonest but rather because their health systems and record keeping may not be as advanced as they might wish.

And then there is China whose figures I simply do not believe. According to the data provided, China has fewer virus cases than Canada even though it has 20 times the population. As the kids say, I call BS on that.
