Yes includes firearms.

Illinois rules would be more stringent I would guess. Did he drive himself there? Bum a ride with friends? Get dropped off by parent?

I watched the video of Rittenhouse that night. I'd call that an addendum, not a fix, but I'm fine with it, really. It's also right in line with what you hear out of Keisha Lance Bottoms, for all the props (hint: none at all) this gets her with Conservatives. For all I know, Mayor Ted is blue in the face from talking to people about this. Portland has problems that maybe only Seattle can relate to. As for Kenosha, off my radar, but....my memory of growing up in SE Wisconsin...some whites *really* don't like blacks, and how bad Kenosha city government and PD have it this way, I don't know. I'll check in with people in the region who might have a better feel for it.

Humm Togor you seem to be seeing things that I and others are not seeing. As he was trying to leave the area he was hit from behind by the one with a skateboard. He went down and a second one attempted to take his rifle away. He managed to hold on to it got into a semi upright position and fired. Hit the one with the skateboard it seems and the one who tried to take the rifle away. Plus the third one a felon who had a handgun in his right hand. The boy shot him in his right shoulder and this one could not release the handgun as his arm was in serious pain. That's why he has refused to talk to anyone about any of this. He won't have a permit to carry and now he is in deep schit. Now the Feds can follow the money these trouble makers have been getting they will find who is paying for it all.

Togor there is updated video evidence of this horrible incident. You may call him a cop want a be that is your choice. You say he didn't stop to render aid like the real police do. I've seen plenty of video of the cops shooting some one and not rendering aid. There is video of the young man standing next to the first man he shot with a journalist providing aid and he leaves when members of the mob start chasing him. I said many times that the skate board is the non descript weapon of choice of these Antifa type people. I've seen plenty of video over the last few months people being severely by men using skate boards and the business owner in Dallas was killed by a thug beating him with a skate board. I think the young man made a very poor choice in being there in the first place but I'll let the jury decide this case.

Lyman my position around here on felons with guns is pretty clear. You've even attacked me for it, saying I'm too overzealous about the problem, want to inconvenience law abiding citizens. So no cigar on the guy with the handgun.

Also, I'm told tattoos are okay, nothing to judge.

Not a lawyer but I am interested in how the statutes of armed self defense will play out here. If someone is not supposed to have a firearm, can they legally defend themselves with one? And if they're caught fleeing the site where they shot someone, a shooting ultimately judged illegal, and they're attacked and start shooting again, is that citizens bringing down an armed suspect or an individual defending themself? Because Rittenhouse wanted to be a cop someday, he doesn't get the presumption of being pure of heart. Guys do flunk out of the program because they don't pass the psych exam. And as a minor he's on shaky legal ground with the firearm.
