Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers says Donald Trump is NOT welcome in Kenosha

What did Trump have to do with the riots?..All Dem cities...

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers says Donald Trump is NOT welcome in Kenosha:

Democrat says the president should stay away after he announced plans to visit Jacob Blake's family in the riot-torn city on Tuesday

Democrat Evers urged Trump to reconsider his trip in a letter Sunday
Evers said he is 'concerned about what your presence will mean for Kenosha'

The White House said Saturday that Trump will visit Kenosha Tuesday following days of protests in the city after the police shooting of Jacob Blake

They reconfirmed his trip Sunday evening, after Evers' letter was sent

Trump will be meeting with law enforcement officers and 'surveying' the damage in the city, where businesses have been vandalized and some buildings burned
Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, has also expressed concerns about the visit

Of course Trump is going to ignore Evers. But Ray go visit Trump's Twitter feed to see how he has injected himself into the current problems. The question "what does Trump have to do with it?" is disingenuous or uninformed. Trump inserts himself into every big story. You should know that by now!

So Trump will come and give a speech and the base will cheer and whether or not "surburban housewives" like it or not....time will tell.

Nixon did it differently....he was pro law & order in the 1968 election, but that was through authorized power. Trump's cheerleading for militia engagement is not the same thing, and most people understand. As in most things, Trump's positions are expressed with more vulgarity than other politicians. I am told it is part of his charm. I personally don't see it.

Nixon didn't have all these rioting and stealing back then. And Trump wants the governor's to ask for fed assistance so he can send in the troops which, and for some reason you don't understand, that he can't unless they ask for it..

The last time I checked the President of the United States was a citizen and can freely travel and visit any state that he wants just like you and I. Will his visit fan more flames from people who are already ripping crap up, probably not any more or less. These people don't need an excuse. Remember the levels of protest that we have seen in every case. Step one, a cop kills a black person. Black people respond, many based on emotion and not facts as the facts aren't all available to make sound decisions. They rip stuff up and then go home. Step two, Antifa types then start causing trouble using the BLM movement as a cover mixed in with others who think they are making a difference. This is the same pattern we have seen in city after city.

The last time I checked a person in the US doesn't need travel papers to visit within the country. The Governors just don't want anymore bad press.

Trump should say to Governor Evers, "If I'm not welcome in your state, you're not welcome in my country."

So, from here on out every time some idiot gets killed by a cop it's going to be a month long riot? There's no end of idiots. Some are black. A little algebra.

Maybe not a month but it sure seems like it.

Anyone catch Trump's comparison of bad police shoots to missed putts? It was probably the only spontaneously honest thing he said in the entire interview.
