Trump Popularity Continues to Slip, Miltary Times

Can't imagine why. Actually I can. The self-described "war President" is the last guy any of us would want leading the military if an actual war flared up. Too mercurial, a terrible trait to have at the top when an actual shooting war is going on.

actually, he seems to be hated by the military industrial groups cause he is not a war hawk,

he wants to end what Bush and Obama promised they would,

but the hawks in congress and the lobbyist want things to continue,

Somebody leave a can of paint thinner open in the shop?

Trump wants big increases in defense spending, just not the bodybags to go with it. To defense contractors it's all business just the same.

Then there's the way he's doing it....giving ground to the Russians in SW Asia and Africa and to the Chinese in East Asia. Bowing before the Russian and Chinese dictators.

Good idea. If you're a centered voter...you haven't made up your mind. The next 60 days will be hell.

Trump may not be a war hawk, but the service members that I know who have been stationed overseas are glad they aren't still under Obama's watch. They now have rules of engagement that allow them to defend themselves and complete meaningful missions.
