    Sturgis & Covid

Study seems pessimistic, but even so, a lot of cases. ND, SD, definitely hot spots post Sturgis. And people take it home with them.

    It's all about greed.

Sturgis should have been cancelled. The states that have beaches should not have reopened them (yet). Ball games should be conducted like NASCAR where it is televised, maybe even pay-per-view, but no spectators in the grand stands.

I live in the Black Hills and this is totally false. Just you liberals attacking a state and its Governor who did NOT lock down.

What's false? That ND/SD spiked? That Sturgis was an opportunity for spread? I agree the guess seems kinda high, unclear what secondary assumptions they're making about transmission. But to say that Covid is a liberal hoax, that's a bit much.

Who the hell knows what to believe anymore. I will tell you my local newspaper has shifted to covering sports and not the virus very much. Numbers are going down in Harris County Texas. The hospital admissions are dropping to almost April levels and the death rate is also. I'm very confused and don't believe anyone anymore. I make up my own mind on this and other matters by doing research.

I'd believe in the fundamentals that got you this far. Masks, distancing, trying to steer clear of those with poor discipline. Good luck, stay safe!

Strange how these mayors and governors (mostly democrats) think CV-19 is the worse thing to ever happen to the world, try to put the blame on Trump instead of obama where it started, mandate face mask and distancing, yet think nothing of opening up events like Sturgis, beaches, bars, restaurants, gyms, ball games and other sporting events all for the sake of revenue.

The problem is either serious or it isn't. One thing for sure, if biden wins in November it will all go away, at least the numbers.

Not like those gentle people that Togey supports, the rioters-looters-BLM-Antifa crowd. They have their masks on except to not be I.D.

Sturgis has roughly 7,000 residents. The state has less than 900,000 in total population.

How many showed up to play Wild Hogs? Nearly 500k?

Local opinion doesn't show what the population took home with them.

read a bit here and there about this,

seems there is some big disagreement on actual numbers, and how it is measured etc etc,

some suggest (using numbers provided ) that 50% of those there got it, have it, had it or infected others,

                    other numbers are way lower,

and one article I read somewhere, sounded like a grade schooler wrote it, before taking an class on writing,

                    lots of may's if's and's etc

Highest growth rate in the nation.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Coronavirus infections in the Dakotas are growing faster than anywhere else in the nation, fueling impassioned debates over masks and personal freedom after months in which the two states avoided the worst of the pandemic.

There are 10 people in town and 5 come down with CV19. Democratic paper boldly reads: Half of town down with virus due to bikers.

How is that an inaccurate statement?

In other news: Sam accidentally stepped on his own dick attempting to be cheeky.

It was a very small step by all witness accounts.
