The guy was impeached, correctly, for using the power of the US government on a foreign government to try to get that government's assistance in knocking out a domestic political rival. Objectively, if someone is going to give that a pass, but get all excited when a state level staffer gets arrested, their value structure needs to be called into question. The whole "we like it when Trump pisses on the rules because it helps us somehow" mystique may come back to haunt the base sooner instead of later.

Remember now. There is still an investigation on going into the 7th floor Democrats trying to get the Lump in trouble and impeached. Now if its not good news for the Democrats with secret Grand Jury information charging going on then some of the Democrats will wake up one day with new jewelry on. And if it should come out say a week or two before the election then what just might happen then?
