    Making A Difference

If the protesters care about this country why don't they use their energy fighting the wildfires? Oh I know, they are to soft and lazy and contributing to the good of this country isn't part of Roadthing or toegor's plan.

More realistic is them setting the fires as a form of protest to bring down the President.

Why aren't you fighting the wildfires Sako? Last time I checked, fire didn't have politics. Been hitting the local crossfit box, right?

I took some wildland firefighting training classes years ago and theoretically could pull my weight on a fireline, but then again that work is a young person's game, 16+ hour days of hard labor, day after day. They use bodies up.

Training is important. They can't just stick newbies out there and hope they do the right thing, esp. when radio contact is impossible due to geography.

No this post just looks like a liberal cheap shot.

Creating scratchlines and backburning against them in roadless areas is grueling work. We burn against scratchlines every year but they are the tame version, not what these grunts do.

when not solving the worlds problems, practicing medicine, practicing psychology/psychiatry, building roads and sky scrapers, giving sermons on the mount and knowing all there is to know about the rest of the stuff in the world, he apparently fights fires,

Actually if you're fighting your prescribed burn then something went wrong.

Prescribed burning on restored parcels is the lite version of wildland fire fighting.

An "un named source" reported that Togey runs the teleprompter for Biden and does it for free!
