Why is nominating a Ginsburg replacement now a mistake and immaterial

It just gives the Democrats another issue to declare that the process is another Trump dictatorial action dividing the nation.

It don't mean sheet. If Biden wins, it is over. The U.S. is done. Freedom will be a memory, There will never be another free election, and the U.S. will be a one party dictatorship where the one party will have a convention every 8 years to see who will be their President for the next 8 years. Washington DC and Puerto Rico will become States and the Democrats will get 4 more Senators to guarantee their prominence forever.

They will have complete control of the government... Zero checks and balances.

Whether Trump names a new Ginsburg replacement or not, it is meaningless if Biden wins. Why bother? Why be distracted by a meaningless event?

Bush and Trump have contributed more to bankrupting this nation, inflating the corporate national debt, than any Democrat administration.

No one wants to talk about the debt.

You're not wrong to say that blatant GOP hypocrisy on SCOTUS confirmation is going to enrage the opposition, in a way that US marines were enraged by the massacre of Col. Goettge's patrol--learning the hard way that the other side has thrown out the rule book.

Whether or not it leads to your list or other actions, time will tell.

The dark side of the win-at-all-costs mentality embraced by the GOP.

Sir, I think you should check your facts. BHO added more to the National Debt that all his predecessors.

Less than Reagan as a percentage, Trump has added more debt than Obama over the same term. Obama did add to the debt, and sequestration was applied to pay for more corporate bailouts.

Tax cuts for corporations don't help. Socialized losses and bonus payments to executives are a scam.

Your edits deflect from the point. Trump's attacks on voting, the GOP's own disregard for it's own principles (check out the Lincoln Project's Lindsay Graham clip), the GOP has declared war on the idea of democracy itself, that people choose their leaders, not the regime. It's on for real now.

What idiotic nonsense--SC Judges aren't "leaders," & the mob ("democracy") doesn't choose them.

No sh*t, Sherlock. But judges do decide what rules stick and which ones don't. Why do you think McConnell has taken on this project?

Everyone is ignorant on some subjects -- but he's the most multifaceted iggorot I know. What an ultramaroon!

The people do NOT choose Supreme Court Justices, as he claimed. They are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.

Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 2, Clause 2:

Clause 2: He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for.

Man it doesn't get any better. I go away on vacation and when I get back its the SAME OLD SCHITT over and over again here. Its like a Kindergarten. Both sides have great points and have as much schitty ones too. But lets stop belittling each other. All here are supposed to be adults. I'm tired of both sides acting this way.

I feel that Trump see's the need to replace Ruth Buzzard Ginsburg because if he wins the election but loses the senate he will have a majority of conservatives in the supreme court.

If he loses the election the court will still be a majority of conservatives. If someone isn't appointed NOW then it will be filled with liberals.

The democrats are deathly scared about this and will try everything they can think of including impeachment (again) to delay the vote until after the election.

Which is why I have them on "Ignore" and urge others to do the same -- but people WILL keep quoting them.

Well, has the media stopped promoting relentlessly the left-wing agenda & glorifying BLM & radical liberals like Ginsberg & that POS John Lewis, while at the same time calling Trump a liar every day, blaming him for Wuhan, & attacking every conservative position? If not, why should some of us here put our heads in the sand & pretend it isn't happening?
