That's what Trump does....makes you have to hate the sort of people who others describe (rightly) as a hero.

150 passengers and 5 aircrew survived. You call that "fifteen minutes of fame" because a guy who dedicated himself to excellence, and summoned it forth when needed, declares that he knows a fraud when he sees one.

You hate Sully, but love Putin, Kim, Xi, MBS. Can't you see how effed up that is?

Sullenberger didn't have to go on TV at all. I had the utmost respect for him until he went political. His ability to fly an airplane doesn't make him any more politically astute than the plumber that unstops your commode.

Sully makes pretty good points though. If at the end of it he had said "....and vote FOR Trump..." people would be talking about what a great vid it is, how he is right on the money. Except that it wouldn't follow. Leadership, highest calling, defending Democracy, these do not lead someone to vote for Trump. Point is, Sully isn't the problem, obviously.
