Lawsuit Seeks to Remove ‘Hundreds’ of Noncitizens from Voter Rolls

    Something smells like voter fraud..

A lawsuit filed in Houston on Monday by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) seeks to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls.

The suit filed in Harris County alleged, “noncitizens were registered to vote, even after they identified themselves as noncitizens on their voter registration applications,” Fox 26 reported.

The suit included “dozens” of images showing a registrant checking the “No” box on the citizenship portion of the form.

“In essence what we have here is evidence of people saying they are not U.S. citizens on voter registration records in Harris County, and yet they are becoming registered voters anyway,” PILF spokesman Logan Churchwell said.

Thanks for the post. Houston which is part of Harris County is also a sanctuary city.

The way it goes is this:

Come up with a reasonable-sounding argument, non-citizens shouldn't be on the roles.

Find a few examples that would be caught in the filter, to make people go "okay, so this filter catches these cases".

Apply the filter in such a way that not only does it catch "tuna", but it also catches "dolphins". That is, it drops people from the rolls who have a right to be there.

That's my knock on a lot of these voter roll purges, that they error on the side of scrubbing away paint with the dirt, even though they don't advertise that feature.

There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that bans non-citizen voting. Those decisions are made by the states, and some allow it.

For sure Presidential elections may be off the table to non citizens but as they may legally vote in local elections it only makes sense you'll find some on the voter roles .

I notice the Breitbart article doesn't mention the above facts .

I do note that Breitbart mentions 350,000 dead people still on the voter roles.... hmmm . Brings up two questions ...

        1. How many of those dead have been shown to still be voting ? ... should be easy to find the answer in today's electronic age... no ?

        2. Right after the last election our President made a big show of demanding an investigation into voter fraud....... what was the outcome ?

You're free to post from sites that contradict these stories. The web sites aren't the problem. The stories aren't the problem. The problem is the Republican Party under Trump is at a dead end.
