    Pike County, PA, Voter Misinfo

To register to vote in Pennsylvania, a person must be a US citizen for at least 30 days, be 18 years old, and a resident of Pennsylvania and their election district for at least 30 days. For those with second homes in Pennsylvania spending more time there due to COVID-19, they must register in the state of their primary residence, as determined by factors like having a PA driver's license, registering vehicles in PA, filing taxes from a PA address, and spending over 183 days per year in Pennsylvania. Falsifying information on a voter registration application is considered perjury and is punishable by up to 7 years in prison and a $15,000 fine.

Back story is people from NYC own second homes in Trump country, PA. Some want to vote there, the local registrar doesn't want that to happen, so a flyer is circulated with made up rules on it. I understand the grumbling about the New Yorkers (Trump is one and nobody can stand him) but people can't just make up their own rules on the fly like that. And of course, how stupid does one have to be to think that such a flyer won't catch the eye of someone higher up in government. Now you have the state coming down on you.
