      Maybe, maybe not, but I'll tell you what....Trump is by all accounts ratings obsessed and this did not make him happy. But he had only himself to blame for cancelling out on a remote site debate. The choice to go to separate programming was his, and his opponent exploited his predictable negotiating theatrics. One has to believe they had that scenario already gamed out in advance and knew exactly what to do when Trump cancelled his participation. Like a gift from heaven.

          What it shows us how a bad Trump decision played out in real time, in such a way that his enablers couldn't cloak it in the usual fog of confusion which the base is used to seeing. You think that's the only bad decision he's made in the last month? Quarter? 4 years? Mostly they don't let you see them.
