DC Cops Injured by Protester’s Fireworks, bricks and other causes

Claims of 11 officers have been injured; 6 more taken to hospitals, mostly injuries from burns, bricks, injured ankles.

Multiple news outlets and journalists on social media report multiple Washington, D.C. police officers were injured during a protest that began outside a district headquarters. Some of the officers were injured when protesters threw an explosive fireworks device into a line of police officers on bicycles.

Initial reports indicate that someone from a crowd of protesters gathered outside the 4th District police headquarters in DC threw fireworks behind a line of police officers.

DC has 700,000 people living there with 3800 officers and civilians making it the 6th largest metro police department in the country. 52% of the department are black officers. So the anarchists' trying to kill the officers in a protest over a black man killed by the police are in fact targeting more black men and women.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong He was not killed by the police. Cops attempted to stop him for riding a scooter on sidewalk and was not helmeted. He went down an alley and popped out to be involved in a collision which resulted in his death
