Only bit the brother. Might have been a good thing like biting only the inlaws, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.

I had a friend's in my lap about 6 min. before it tore into my hand like a chainsaw; no stitches, but plenty of blood.

Being in your LAP you're lucky it was your hand it tore into.

Spot was 3 lbs, max, at his fattest,

if he could get his nose in a thing, he would get in a thing,

          loved squeaky toys,

came to me when I called him and met me at the door like a dog each day when I got home,

litter box trained, like a cat,

          loveable but independent,

loved to go for walks outside, even in the snow,

if you let them free roam the house, you have to ferret proof it, they will get into stuff that could hurt them,

Sister had a parakeet- nasty thing. She had to exchange him for another.

Then there were the two hamsters. One was fine but the other was a biter. Both disappeared one day. Mother claimed she had nought to do with it.

And then ,the day that I unknowingly brought home a 2 inch cockroach. It went down a floor crack and that was that. Lucky. Went to a one buck movie theater once. I could see huge roaches way up above on the ceiling. Some dental students caught a big roach and cast it up in metal-even the long antennae were on the casting. All this in Ohio.

when we had our ferret, just before our house was finished, we were living with my dad,

wife rescued a hamster from someone, did not want it to be neglected any more etc etc,

so we put him in his little hamster cage, and put the cage on top of all the boxes of stuff we had stacked up to move,

                thinking that would be safe,

nope,, heard a thunk and some other noise one night, and went to look

Spot had climbed up the pile, and pushed the hamster cage off the side, climbed back down, and had the hamster in his mouth when I turned the light on,,

it survived, but went to someone else the next day

Was the ferret running for Congress on the Democrat ticket?
