AOC says she might quit politics

I wouldn't place any bets she will quit as she gets national attention and quite a step up from her other job..

AOC says she might quit politics as Dems pin losses on progressives and top black lawmaker James Clyburn says defund the police was a disaster

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she considered not running for reelection and exiting politics because of how divided the Democratic Party has become and She claims establishment Democrats are 'hostile' they are toward progressives

Democratic House Majority Whip James Clyburn of South Carolina said labels from progressives like 'socialist' hurt the Party in its congressional races and also said the 'defund police' movement, touting by Ocasio-Cortez and her 'squad', was detrimental to some key races this year

'I've always said that these headlines can kill a political effort,' Clyburn said
Instead of an expected 'blue wave', Democrats lost several House incumbencies as many districts flipped red and some races thought to be a lock were lost

Ocasio-Cortez says she is not to blame for this flip: 'Republicans levied very effective rhetorical attacks against our party'

A party can only be so broad in its appeal. If it glows even brighter blue, or red, at the extreme, it fades in the middle. AOC also has to understand branding better, that the labels "socialism" and "defund police" are political death.

since they used her to energize a base, (and supposedly she was hired to win that seat by her handlers, with not an original thought in her head) I wonder is those in control realize she is now not needed to bring the party back in line since they have (supposedly, jury still out) won

You must go back along time, "sunshine" is an archaic used name. Problem is that long time users will paint it black. Gonna tell us about L.A. Woman Speedballs next? Yea, kinda Jim Morrison with the same end!
