Trains will have to be switched from diesel to electric so America will have to follow European trains in this regards. Who pays for the wires to carry the juice to the trains all over America? Who pays for the conversion from diesel to all electric for each propulsion unit?

Tax business, they will just pass it on with increased prices and move over seas...taking the tax base and jobs with it.
