Building of the wall to prevent illegals coming in will stop

Open door will be left intact! ....

Building of the wall to prevent illegals coming in will stop as Joe Biden will stop building Trump's wall as soon as he is sworn in but will leave barrier intact - meaning president built just 12 miles of entirely new fencing

Joe Biden will immediately stop construction of the southern border wall once taking office, but leave all 400 miles of already erected wall in place

So far, the project has cost $15 billion and only 12 miles of entirely new barrier has been added as much has been reinforcing and reconstructing existing wall

Texas Democratic Representative Henry Cuellar said that Americans voting President Donald Trump out 'was a referendum on the wall' he promised to build

That's what happens when you try to do something without the approval of Congress.

Even in the 2016-2018 period, there was insufficient GOP support in both houses to get the wall approved, meaning Democratic votes would always be needed.

If only there had been something the Democrats would have traded for wall support. Oh wait, there was.

But the barrier tech that was installed, was defeated. So we were looking to build a monument to folly, thousands of miles of scrap metal in the desert, visible from space. Archaeologists would treat that as a marker of a declining society.

future voters and farm hands, as well as the dem elites house keepers,

you know, the stuff Americans won't do,

meanwhile, once Biden is in office, kids will be put in cages again, and border patrols will continue (and the wall enlarged or replaced as needed) but no one will mention any of it , just like it was before Trump

        why?

        feelings,

No the GOP stopped it. They didn't have the votes. Blame the RINOs. The Dems wanted something in return and Trump's people said no dice. Actually they were worried he would have taken the deal.

Some remote locations, the border is a wildlife corridor. Few people try crossing. I'm of the opinion that someone has to give a sh*t about wildlife, that God didn't put us here to eff over all of the other species that God also put here, if you want it in biblical terms. So cut the wildlife a break.

Like to believe that, but why would he want to restrict adding to the no. of future Dem voters? Open borders are far more likely, with the BP given the job of handing out refreshments to wetbacks.

              feelings,

and he will do what someone that paid him wants him to do,

and make no mistake, what ever he does with the walls and cages, will still let plenty in,

just like it was when he was VP

I wonder if the increase of farm subsidies is at all tied to paying higher labor prices? Tariffs didn't help.

Trade war caused China to start buying beans from Brazil, which is bad for both the American farmer and the Amazon. So now farmers are, depending on how one looks at it, either on welfare, or government make-work growing soybeans with no market. Overproduction is paradoxically a greater long term threat to food security than under-production.
