Americans Must ‘Repent’ for Backing Trump and ‘Worship of Whiteness’

Americans Must ‘Repent’ for Backing Trump and ‘Worship of Whiteness’ said The senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock who is now locked in a tight Senate race against Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler.

He said 'If it is true that a man who has dominated the news and poisoned the discussion for months needs to repent, then it is doubly true that a nation that can produce such a man and make his vitriol go viral needs to repent'

The senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Warnock is now locked in a tight Senate race against Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler.

He is already under fire for a bevy of his previous statements, from calling Israel an "oppressive regime" to his defense of the anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright. He is also come under scrutiny for praising his religious mentor, Dr. James Cone, who argued that white Christians practice the "theology of the Antichrist" and described whites as "satanic."

Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock argued in late 2016 that Americans needed to "repent" both for supporting Donald Trump and for the country's "worship of whiteness."

      Small voting block.

Politically not a great sermon. Elections are not won by attacking the voters, even those you assume were not for you (because there is always a margin that gets trimmed).

But preachers, brave ones at least, dare to lead the flock through difficult terrain. And Lord Knows some need leading, even in 2020 still stuck on skin pigment levels as a proxy measure for anything and everything that matters about a person.

But also HOT...which is the main thing, apart from "whiteness."

Not EVERYTHING, & not for all pigments, but for non-white pigments, it is a GOOD predictor of many important traits, such as political affiliation. Of course no prediction based on statistical probabilities is infallible, of course there are exceptions, but skin color is at least as reliable a predictor as the average weather report. Do we ignore the weather report because we know it can be wrong? Only a fool does.

                Exactly. People remember stuff forever.

And "murderers and rapists" may have helped flip Arizona, such that the entire SW border went blue in the last election.

Remember you're the guy who can't wrap his head around what masks do and why, so it only makes sense that you'd get hung up on pigment. Have you worked out the solar system yet or still dug in on Ptolemy?

What a brilliant response to a statement that EVERYONE (inc. even him!) knows is true! How bout we go to any neighborhood where the predominant skin color is non-white, ask people what party they support, & make wagers on their answers? We might also make wagers on such things as musical preferences, favorite sports & recreations, etc., all based on skin color alone. No doubt I'd loose a few, but win the other 90+%. Who else believes that acknowledging this indisputable FACT of life represents a case of being "hung up on pigment"? And HE is the one who continually brags about being the rational thinker? His kind of blindly ideological response is what happens when PC exercises total control over your thought processes.

Yes people make generalizations, but not about intrinsic worth as human beings. That's the line you cross, duh.

"Intrinsic worth as human beings" is the mindless & meaningless PC drivel he throws up as a smoke screen when he previously said that skin pigment had no bearing on what "matters about a person." How a person thinks, acts, & votes--which to a statistically significant probability can be predicted by skin color alone--doesn't matter? Who else believes this? Do ISIS throat-cutters have "intrinsic worth as human beings"? How about the Khmer Rouge mass-killers? Sanctimoniously prating about the "intrinsic worth of human beings" is a SURE sign of running out of rational argument.

Human inflation? I'm going to throw out a story that I heard years ago. So, this guy was talking to this ol' boy. The ol' boy was a farmer and his area was being inundated with Muzlims. He told the guy, if you like John Wayne, you'd like these guys. I kind of get it. Down to earth. F**k with me and look out. Sounds good. Nuke Iran? Nope. Iran might be a wonderful place to visit. Does Iran need Nukes? I don't think any country needs to have nukes. I could cut yer head off with this here kitchen knife, but I won't. We need kitchen knives. We don't need Nukes. If Iran stood down maybe it would be an inspiration for everyone. They might set an example that everyone could follow. C'mon now, you know the words..
