Pro-Trump March in DC with some trouble

Thousands had gathered for a pro-Trump March in DC and some crashes occurred in
Freedom Plaza in Washington DC on Saturday for a pro-Trump 'Million MAGA March
Thousands had gathered in Freedom Plaza in Washington DC on Saturday for a pro-Trump 'Million MAGA March' in support of the president's unsubstantiated claims of widespread election fraud

Earlier, anti-Trump protesters were seen throwing fireworks and bottles at his fans as they dined outside a restaurant at around 6pm, with one Trump supporter throwing a chair back in retaliation after a firework exploded right beside him.

The Trump supporters initially tried to shout back at the large group of protesters gathered around them chanting 'people are dying while you are dining', before being forced to flee inside when the fireworks began.

Trump tells DC cops to 'do your job' and deal with 'Antifa scum' at the Million MAGA March attended by few thousand as man is stabbed and 20 are arrested in brawls between his supporters and counter-protesters

Proud Boys and Trump supporters brawled with left-wing groups for several minutes before cops arrived and One man in his 20s was left with serious injuries after being stabbed in the back in an altercation

Taking part were far-right groups such as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers militia group

Left-wing groups and self-proclaimed anarchists also showed up to confront Trump's supporters and Skirmishes of pushing and shoving broke out before police formed lines to separate the groups

From what I understand the 'million' is best kept in quotation marks, actual attendance 10-20K.

Kayleigh said ONE MILLION on twitter but she wouldn't be the first or last blonde to be really bad at math.

When they filed for the permit given estimate beforehand was 10K

Sure, although some come closer than others,

And Kayleigh knows that her boss is obsessed with size, so lying about how big something is, a bridge she crossed long ago.

Crowd control was pretty well handled by MPD who don’t act like wanna be Tier 1 assets like the bozos that Barr brought in from the Bureau of Prisons in June.

Still not bad attendance for a man that lost an election...

              True.

How it plays out from here we will have to watch.

True story about Obama. When he ran for President the DNC had no real voter contact infrastructure, so he built one outside the party in 2008 and used it in 2012. When Hillary ran he did not give over his database to her, so to the extent she built one, it was from scratch. Not exactly Obama helping the next soldier over the obstacle!

Now Trump has built a tremendous personal following with database to match. I may disagree with their choice but there's no question as to their loyalty to him. How much that loyalty extends to the party or any non-Trump politician, I have questions. But my read of Trump is that he will want to stay the center of focus for as long as possible. That much seems a safe bet, and fair to say not unusual for politicians at that level.

See how many of whom show up for the inauguration. Personally I'd like to see the 'unity' start right after the oath of office if it is Joe.

I doubt Sleepy Joe needs a big inauguration turnout to stoke his ego, especially if the country is 10X deeper in Covid-19 problems, which may well be the case.
