Portland Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty called the cops on her Lyft driver

Another example of being black in America,' she said of the incident

The driver claims he canceled the ride after the dispute over open windows as She wanted the windows up but Company policy is they must be down he told her

Portland city commissioner blames 'white supremacists' for fact she called cops on her Lyft driver in argument about open windows after she called the cops on her Lyft driver Richmond Frost who canceled her ride on November 1

She refused to leave the vehicle until he called another car as she said she felt unsafe but he told her he couldn't

Hardesty had a new ride by the time officers arrived

The commissioner faced harsh criticism for the incident as an advocate of an $18million cut to the city's police department

She told a city council meeting on Thursday that she made the call because she is 'living in a city where white supremacists are proudly riding around'

I agree keeping windows down is the best bet.

As a college student one winter I drove a big Dodge with a 383, which had lost the exhaust system from just behind the crossover pipe. Back in the days when leaded gas and short trips could eat through exhaust pipes like nothing. I drove it that way all winter, rolling down the driver's side window to keep from asphyxiating.

Portland isn't Milwaukee, and November isn't January.

don't know about the window thing,

a friend used to drive for Uber,

in a few years per cooties he had one instance where he put a rider out,

he had a passenger, when asked where they were going and having a general conversation, tell him ,

"you will go where I tell you whitey, or I'll bust a cap in your azz,,"

he reported her to uber and had her leave the car when he pulled over

Having the windows down is probably a Corvid thing. Portland. I will never enter Oregon for the rest of my life.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
