FWIW, as someone that watches a lot of UK TV, they have gone woke of sorts, and have been a while,
most of the cop/detective shows will have a strong female lead, or the person in charge will be female,
the folks that are gay, let you know it, as in way out ,
and lots of color ,
and usually, but not always, the bad guy is white,
still good shows and much better than most US TV shows, (lots less drama and BS, despite the wokeness)
there was some stinkeye in the press a while back about 007, and how a **gasp** female of color was going to be the next 007, yet the mention of Idris Elba replacing Craig was no worries
but then again, there was some stinkeye when Craig took over the role cause he is blonde and blue eyed,,Comment

every watch any UK TV??
I'll give you an example you will likely enjoy,
stream the UK version of Life on Mars, watch all the series , or at minimum, the first season,
then watch the US version,
night and day difference, and the UK version is 10x's better,
the sequel, Ashes to Ashes, is not available in the US, we ended up ordering the DVD set from the UK and buying a cheap region free DVD player,
BTW, the leads in both series are white,, and maleComment

"Only" TV? When PC is written into a script, is that an accident, as if the writer "didn't realize the significance of what he was doing"? It's as DELIBERATE as a finger in your eye, the writer's way of surreptitiously imposing his own political & cultural slant on the viewer. That's not propaganda? In fact, it's the most effective kind, because, unlike an overt political screed, it strikes at the viewer unawares.
I've watched thousands of hours of BBC, mostly before PC became an essential part of the BBC formula, at least for dramas. Historical productions are mostly free of it, & nature & scientific series, but "contemporary dramas" are a PC free-for-all. No need to tolerate this crammed down your throat with so many streaming services available, Curiosity Stream, Epix, etc.Comment

Only one, out of so many to choose from? A hard choice. Wetbacks & other illegals used to be sent back where they came from as soon as they were caught, maybe the same day, but liberal fed judges have now given them all the rights of US citizens, & they are released "on their word of honor" to return for their hearing--never to be seen again, needless to say. How about stopping this insanity?Comment
