What makes some no name professor relevant to anything? Most are people that couldn't make it in the real world, should they have to account for their inability to accept that there are opinions that differ from theirs and their mistakes have to be accounted for.

They're not relevant -- unless you live in a college town (like Jane's sister and her husband) and then the a$$hole professors take over city government and screw everything up.
