    Good for Me...not for Thee

Lauren Boebert is the part owner of a gun themed restaurant in western Colorado. This year she primaried and defeated 5 term Repub. Representative Scott Tipton, alleging rino-ism. She then went on to defeat her Democrat challenger.

Now comes the fun part. She asked if she could carry her Glock on the Capitol Grounds.....and you know what the answer is a qualified yes. In 1967 in a previous period of racial unrest Congress passed a law saying that Congresscritters could possess firearms in the Capitol complex but not in the Well of the House or Senate Floor. When said congressperson was in the Well an aid could take care of the Representative/Senator's gun. Wonder why you never heard of this carve out for our betters? Hmmmmmm...... Well the Dems, a bunch of whom I'll guarantee pack heat have decided this particular piece of legislation is out-moded, as one said this means a Member of Congress can have an AK 47 in his/her office...Yup .

    If you're a resident of DC, well....no .

local politician, who is not able to possess a firearm legally, yet can and has successfully run for office, used one for a prop for gun control legislation a few years ago,

used as in he held it in his hands and waved it around (not very safely either) to spout off about gun control

despite cries to have him prosecuted for that, or really anything, nothing happened,

he later knocked up his 17yr old intern/secretary, but married her when she turned 18 so that was ok too
