    Distrust

I actually agree with everything Concha says in this. That doesn't happen often let me tell you.

this comment will create a stir,

But Election Day is called that – a “day” – for a reason. So, let's take it a step further, by making it a national holiday to allow more people to vote in-person. When going to the polls (which should open at 6 a.m. and stay open until 9 p.m. in every state), an identification should be required; we don't get to board a plane, drive a car, enter our kid's schools or buy liquor without one. Expand the number of voting locations, particularly in urban areas, to avoid long lines and, by extension, allegations of voting suppression.

In this current example, mistrust was started back even before the 2016 election as an excuse for a loss by the GOP candidate for president. He won, to his surprise, and perpetuates this mistrust to this day...as an excuse for another failure to inspire in 2020. We are a moderate society.

Zero personal responsibility is extremely damaging, when acceptance would release those who feel the impossible has happened despite objective evidence and GOP certification in the contested states.

        maybe for the young voters,

the distrust goes back as far as 2000, if not earlier, (JFK maybe)

Money factors into this too. Expanding the number of in person voting stations--a worthwhile idea--requires more physical infrastructure, more manpower. By contrast the use of absentee ballots improves access by giving more time. It is a cost-effective approach and one for which there will always be some need. If it turns out to be what the voters want, then work to ensure confidence in the system.

So far as I can tell, the one candidate didn't like absentee voting because it put his opponent over the top. But his own decisions played to that result as well.

Biden wants unity and he won't get it in any way, shape or form! For four years the NSDWP did their best at destroying and they succeeded. The glue that once held us together is gone and now we are a house divided. MSM did an excellent job and also has the majority of the blame for what will happen. My grandson wanted to join the military in a couple of years, I hope he doesn't and I am going to tell him why.
With what went on in Pa. why should anyone think that our elections are now fair...just the opposite! If Biden had won I would have supported him, not now.

MSN & CNN certainly did everything within their ability to destroy Trump, but most of the damage was done by the Big 3 networks & PBS--all together their viewer numbers dwarf those two.

Dems showed their desire for "unity" with the "Womens' Hate March" the day after Trump's inauguration!

Follow in your footsteps, no military service required to earn that freedom? How abysmal that is.

RKT your party is the one who destroyed, who tore the fabric apart and continue to do so. Well now whatever goes on is on your shoulder's, not ours. Your party used the power to destroy and now it has destroyed the glue of this nation. Your party wanted in charge and now most likely you will have it. Everyday when something goes wrong your party will be congratulated for the misery that your party has inflected on this nation. BLM demands what was promised to them, so does OCS. Don't get it and they will now come after your party, not mine. Cops are leaving the force in large quantities in the large cities and it show's.
Again, many thanks for what you have done...makes one proud doesn't it!

The truth is there and you know it! Doesn't matter what I say or do, the die is cast. Biden/Harris are your leader's and will now lead your party into who knows where. Whatever happens is now on YOUR HEAD not mine. This is a known reality and you don't like it one bit. For four years you have been bitching, now guess who is the bitch?

Since you have established you are Manic to the forum at large.

Extremely elevated and excitable mood usually associated with bipolar disorder.

A manic episode is characterized by a sustained period of abnormally elevated or irritable mood, intense energy, racing thoughts, and other extreme and exaggerated behaviors. People can also experience psychosis, including hallucinations and delusions, which indicate a separation from reality.
