The cuts would come amid spiking numbers for homicides and shootings, the city's police chief says

A new budget proposal in Los Angeles issued Friday would cut more than 1,800 city jobs -- including 951 police jobs -- amid a $600 million budget shortfall, according to a report.

The city already cut $150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department’s budget in July and by next June staffing will be at its lowest level in 12 years, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Farmers are necessary & constructive members of society, & if they go out of business the whole country suffers; whereas LA is a cesspool of crime, corruption, radicalism that deserves to slide into the Pacific when the Big One comes...soon enough that I can enjoy the spectacle, I hope.

Well, yeah, but that's because they tend to be conservatives, and if conservatives want something, they work for it, not throw a temper tantrum until someone gives it to them.
