Wondering how they would have known the political affiliation of the vehicles.

I avoid bumper stickers for just this reason, and the fact that most of them do not age well.

Probably bumper sticker's or saw them exit of the vehicle ..Apparently only Trump ones damaged.. damaging is typical of Dem's as demonstrated in the past...

Yes, both retired and active. Not many though, same for HP everywhere I suppose.

My buddie had his truck broke into. They stole his pistol. He had a NRA sticker and it might have been a message that you might have a gun in the car. He removed the sticker after that.

none in the club I belong to (even tho most of the county and city shoot there) for HP,.

there may be a few shooting IDPA,, not sure (not my thing)

there is a house on the mountain behind the 100 yr berm, a good distance away, but you can see it in the winter,

bullets have hit that house,,, from the Police, (you would need volley sights to hit it)

I knew a good bit of the state team at one time, and not a single police guy there either,
