    Changing the subject ...

By the time a thread reaches page two, if not before,
the answers have absolutely nothing to do with the
thread's subject. Usually it's togor verbally jousting
    with someone.
I mention it because it gets boring very quickly.

Well lots of good news on the horizon for 2021. They're gonna rebuild the CDC for example. Maybe less to argue about.

That's the way it goes on the net. I have actually taken your complaint about it previously, seriously, and try to stay on topic somewhat. But thoughts are like raindrops on a hotplate sometimes. Almost everything I post is brilliant.; as long as your slagging democrats. But some overly consistent posting is almost compulsive. Lincoln never posted as much as Trump. That doesn't mean he wasn't smart. I've worked with hundreds of people but the two that I remember were the guys that could talk for three hours straight. One was kind of mental. Sort of Tourettes. The other guy was so brilliant that he just had to mess with management because it was fun. Management pounced and now he works in a department store(that was years ago, he might be a millionaire now,but I kind of doubt it). No one here is anything near that('course I don't work with them on a daily basis). The CDC should always be evolving.

Which reminds me: RKT, I found Goldwaters. I went there and no one in the place(which is pretty sterile and stripped down. New looking)was wearing a mask, although the marker pen sign on the door said, masks required to enter. So, I guess officially you wear your mask as you enter and then take it off. A sixpack costs $16(they had the termidity to have six selections for tips ranging from low to high). It's OK(I actually give it an 9. Not craft goofy), but not sixteen dollars OK. But it's Longbow country.

Merge it with Bloomberg's "Every town for Gun Safety"? That won't take much doing.

you post reminds me of a guy I used to work with,

          retired Postal Worker from NJ,

he took pleasure in creating accounts on the DU and trolling them, relentlessly,

then he would get banned, wait a week or so and do it again,

          and again,

          and again,

very smart guy, and a helluva a guy to be around,

he found out I was donating some alcohol to a friend stationed overseas, and suddenly I had a case of likker to ship,,

I've heard there are spider eggs in Snickers bars. Sleep tight.

the fed gov't has a regulation for foods containing nuts,

there is a percentage of bug parts (and mouse) that are allowed, by law,

There are two things you don't want to see made. One is sausage. I forget the other. You don't want to know too much about how food is made.

Something about the P.O. The real smart guy I worked with was at the Post Office. I can't disagree with the guys that hate unions. There's something about having that kind of protection that brings out the jackass in people. He was the only one that actually got fired. It took ten years. Now theft, that's a different story. Why would you jeopardise a good paying job to steal $10 in postage stamps?

I've seen sausage made. Not a pretty sight but not sickening either.
Back in early seventies a meat packaging company was one of my clients.

-Haggis is a tasty dish, made using sheep pluck (the lungs, hearts, and liver)- doesn't sound all that bad. What is that thing the Danes put in the ground then eat two years later? It involves fish.

                        lutefish?

                        basically rotted fish,

I think the Greeks do something similar too
