The most plentiful item on the planet is getting scarce ? ...

The stuff that comes out of your kitchen tap is now to be listed
    on the stock exchange.
How long before dirt is listed ? We know grass is already valuable,
but I guess you can't smoke dirt seeing as how it's hard to light.

    We're pumping western aquifers dry.

It takes one gallon of water to make one almond, and almond growers want to ship them to Asia.

That's actually what worries me, that Asia will play off one faction against another in this country to get our natural resources as cheaply as possible. To them, North America is virtually uninhabited once you get past the coastal cities.

NO! THE most plentiful things on Earth are human beings, the numbers of which continue to rise exponentially. Deaths from Kung Flu don't amount to a hiccup! BARELY above average mortality. What was the world's pop BEFORE Kung Flu? What is it now? Absolutely NO statistical difference.

Not after Hiden rolls out the red carpet to the Turd World--which he has already promised to do!

What? There's a worldwide shortage of stupidity?

All they have to do is come to this forum and collect the Three Stooges.

The California democrats have refused over the years to address the
water problem. The love their windmills but seem to hate the idea
of building more reservoirs or maybe dams.
California feeds the nation, but that takes beaucoup water.

                    well, partially,
Cali does have a large farm area, but other states do as well, maybe just not quite as big,

re the water, doesn't Cali restrict rain water use, as in you cannot collect any rainwater for yourself?

and to build a dam, you have to destroy a wetland , or disturb an ecosystem, the spottted whatchacallit may be threatened if you disturb the soil, water, trees, brush etc to put in a lake for irrigation,

                    that would be bad juju

Earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis are tame
compared to the damage a socialist Governor can wreak
                      over the long haul.
