you gotta have the machines to fill the order or line up subcontractors

not saying it isn't possible but in this day and age of lean manufacturing, 10X production increases at the drop of a hat are not a given

        goya is mostly food stuffs,

it may be easy to increase production on some things like the powdered spices etc (not knowing how many are made in a day, hard to say if adding a shift will increase 1% or 100%)

the dried beans, canned veg etc are already in the pipeline,

so a 10X surge in orders will likely clean out the warehouse/distribution center, for the retailer, who will then clean out the warehouse at Goya,

question is can the buyers at Goya get more product added to the existing contracts or will they contract more to be grown next season?

remember those dried beans in the store may have been grown and processed last year, or the year before,

I thought it was a genital correction. How's your hammer hanging now?

It hangs swinging from my belt whenever it's not in my hand.

There was an Olympic hammer thrower in Singapore when I lived there. He used to go out to the golf course early in the morning to practice. He was using the facility after practice, and python came up through the plumbing and bit him. It made the front page of the Straits Times -- and we had that page framed and on the wall in our office.

I met him later and asked him, "How's your hammer hanging NOW?" But he didn't understand the joke.
