We peasants get the beans while foreigners get the Gravy ...

$600 is better than nothing, but not by a lot to people out of work,
out of money and with endless lockdowns, out of hope.
Meanwhile foreign government get largesse from our generous
politicians who give away our taxes like there's no tomorrow
and no doubt reap their own share of the handout. So what's new?

Every time a "must pass" piece of legislation comes through, stuff gets tacked on. Would be better if they could just do this a different way.

How about the Fanjul Brothers ? ... Two of the wealthiest men in the country subsidized by tax dollars for decades

In the United States, fewer than 4,500 farm businesses produce sugar. Yet they cost taxpayers up to $4 billion a year in subsidies..... just so they can make a profit selling sugar cheaper than the Cubans.

This is just one example ....those $4 billion might stay here in the US but I don't believe they are really "trickling" down all that much.

The thing is six thousand pages long. I read about five pages last night that just covered the basics and realized, wow, this thing is big. I guess they had to pass it to see what was in it.

30,000,000,000,000 debt. I'm guessing we're long past the
point where we could pay it back.
Eventually we'll have to pay the Piper.

We'll do it by monetizing the debt -- let inflation run rampant until a loaf of bread sells for a trillion dollars, then pay the debt off with thirty loaves.

Remember the movie, There Will be Blood? There will be inflation.
