some potentially tin foil sights say the NSA had a presence in that building

and that the building housed some Dominion voting machines that were going to be audited,

speculation that it was a fuel air type bomb since no crater was left,

or that it was a mobile meth lab,,,

lots of wild crap out there

Not fuel-air -- the explosion wasn't widespread enough.

Reminds me of a Homer Simpson quote, "“Here's to alcohol: the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.”.
"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. Ullman

Small fuel-air. We blew up a boat with a pint of gasoline. That's why there are vacuums in the bottom of boats. I'm not an expert on big explosives.
Fumes tend to lay lower in cooler air.
What was the cause? Depressed nerd? -I got fired, I can't get laid, I guess I'll blow something up?- I've seen guys, whose jobs got runover by new tech,
mostly they sat out in the smoking area and smoked cigarettes.

My high school, back in the day, designated such an area, believe it or not. Right outside a specific set of double doors, on the back side of the school. Had to be all the way to 16 then to buy cigarettes, but for sure there were freshman smoking them. None of them still smoking today, I would guess--either quit or long dead.

Cigs did chill people out though, made crappy jobs (and school) more palatable.

had the same when I was in high school,

in my senior year, one local TV station found out that sometimes someone would smoke a joint out there and filmed it from the bus loop,

big stink, and I think the smoking area was gone in a year or so,

of course then, having a pocket or belt knife was an every day thing, and plenty of guns in the pickups in the parking lot during hunting season

When I was a lad in High School and took Agriculture, there were lathes, drill presses and so on in the Ag building to work on farm equipment kids would bring guns that needed work and the Ag teacher would help them.

we had some of that stuff in shop, but the big tools were in the Vocational classed held at a central location, (some students did a 1/2 day at school, then went to the Vo school for the rest of the day,

I took a version of Machine shop in the 90's at the local CC,
room full of Bridgeports and Atlas stuff, older than I , and a few newer machines (had a CNC mill that was programmed by punch cards,, and it worked fine),

and a crusty ex NASA machinist instructor, (great guy, sadly he passed a few years ago)
