VP Harris will cheer China on, but not loudly enough to invite
criticism. As for protests, half-hearted at best.
Without the US it's doubtful Japan or Europe would interfere.
China wins, again - first Hong Kong, now Taiwan. Who's next ?

DT has blamed Biden for something (Taiwan going under) that hasn't even happened yet,

while absolving Trump for any culpability in something that already has (Beijing taking over the HK government in entirety).

Taiwan is a different nut entirely. There are IC fabs in Taiwan that the DoD considers critical infrastructure. If the mainland moves on Taiwan, there will be a shooting war and the USN and USAF will be in it under Biden whereas Trump would walk away. That doesn't make Biden a warmonger, just means he isn't a doormat for the dictators like some other US Presidents chose to be.
