The news media are attacked as the enemy and their equipment damaged as MAGA rioters destroyed thousands of dollars of TV cameras and chased down journalists reporting on US Capitol chaos - before making NOOSE from camera cord and hanging it from a tree

An angry mob of Donald Trump supporters turned on the media outside the US Capitol Wednesday as Rioters swarmed a media crew and smashed up thousands of dollars worth of equipment

Crews were forced to abandon the area and flee as the violent thugs kicked over lights and cameras, battered equipment with flags and sticks and poured water over the gear

Some of the crowd then made a noose from the camera cord and hung it from a tree
MAGA supporters stormed the US Capitol earlier Wednesday causing lawmakers to flee to safety

One woman died after being shot in the ambush while the building went into lockdown
Lawmakers returned Wednesday evening and Vice President Mike Pence condemned the violent siege

It isn't -- we screwed the pooch and will have a much more difficult time winning back our freedom as a result.

Bruce you're trying to attribute high-minded principle after-the-fact to a mob action in a gathering that was sold as

"Be there, will be wild!"

and cut loose with

"We’re going to walk down any one you want, but I think right here. We’re going walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen and women. We’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong."

I don't think you can write that sermon in a way that will stick.

It'll take a lot more than this to accomplish anything -- as it is, we forfeited all the respect we gained by being models of peaceful protest and cleaning up our trash afterwards.

Re: Rebellion, etc. Over the last several years extremist left-wing groups have assaulted courthouses, burned police stations, assaulted officers, vandalized, looted and burned businesses and property. Old Joe and his demokrats did not have much of anything at all to say about these little incidents ... until they saw their poll numbers going down at which time they found their voice... sort of ... and ... sort of ... spoke. Meantime the msm and other demokrat enablers made all sorts of statements to the effect that the protesters could not be treated as mere criminals since it was necessary to take into account their provocation due to outrageous provocation or whatever incident was claimed to be the precipitating cause. Now we see a capital building vandalized, protesters demonstrating and a unarmed woman shot and killed by a officer who claims he had no other alternative ... and the same crew who had no problems with what they earlier termed protest and demonstrations against oppression, etc., etc., etc., now suddenly find their "law and order" script and start reading about how American democracy is in jeopardy, etc., etc., etc. ad nauseous ad infinitum. Protestors and Patriots. Guess it really is in the politics of the beholder. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

This "Democracy" is fractured starting 4 years ago with the assault by the NSDWP call for impeachment. What could have been a better America just barely went on. Trump lifted every boat and all the SD tried to do is to torpedo us. About 1/2 of the nation is against what is coming into "power" in a few weeks and then what? With the ability to try and pass anti-gun laws how will this be received? A very strong possibility of armed rebellion against the Federal Government due to their "anti" crusade.
The world is "appalled" with what happened in D.C., what will be their reaction of open armed rebellion if it occurs?
