Police officers in Pennsylvania brutally arrest alleged robbery suspect

But don't trust the news for the real facts

According to a witness who (ARRIVED) after the person was on the ground
being held down. said the man did not try to run away and was only trying to move because he was hurting and she began to film the incident. How could she know he had not been running if she arrived after he was on the ground?..

Officers said he was a runner and that's why he was being held down and it appears the officer was kneeling OVER him and not putting weight on his chest!.

"He tried to run ma'am," the police officer told her.

She told Newsflare: "They did not need to be on top of him like that, especially since he was handcuffed, (he was not handcuffed or had ankle cuffs) put on him until he got up). She said there was more than one officer on the scene for them to be able to sit him down like a true pedestrian being restrained."

As one of the police officers is holding the man down, one of the pedestrians yells, "get off his chest!"

The police officer responds, "I can't do that because he's gonna run away."

One of the police officers began to yell at the filmer and other bystanders, "shut up and get out of here... do you want to go?"

Another woman is seen arriving at the scene yelling at the officers, "all you do is abuse people!"

The filmer told Newsflare that the cops said they had a call for a robbery, and the man fit the description!

Well it sounded like a constructive back-and-forth between law enforcement and the public. Progress!

What was constructive about it..The woman got involved but should have stayed out of it as she didn't see the reason for arrest from the beginning and why he was being detained like he was!....That's the problem with criticizing before you know the whole story...

You think it's bad that police are willing to talk to civilians? Same old attitude that creates this mistrust in the first place.... we're government employees with guns and union protections...buzz off!

What's your original gripe? That the woman dared ask the cop what was going on or that the cop bothered to give her a real answer? Yeah a tense situation but they handled it right?

Yes she was, and her initial assumptions were incorrect....but she didn't break any laws did she. I don't see a problem here.

All I pointed out was that the news article created an incident by intentionally misleading people about the incident by making it look like the police were abusive. Notice the Head Line, Police officers in Pennsylvania BRUTALLY arrest alleged robbery suspect.. Which was not true! It's just another time were the news creates what they want the incident to appear.

What do expect when you go to the Daily Fail web site for Pete's sake?!

Like poking yourself with a sharp stick then complaining about the pain right?
