With all that is going on do you feel that children have been let lose on American Society? The more that I observed the less confident that I feel from all quarters of our political fabric. Regardless of political party neither one has my confidence that "they" have any idea of what is going on or where to lead the American people.

The long range plan was to dumb down the kids, gradually
infiltrate the learning institutions, the media and the local
judicial. With that accomplished, all that was left was to fix
the election process. Covid came like a miracle allowing
them to institute mail voting. Today is the result; Politicians
who now rule rather than govern with a largely go along
    to get along populace.

I agree. It's the "your OK, I'm OK" thinking. [Here I go with Sesame st. again]- It nice to teach five year olds that everyone is OK and everything you do is OK. PBS should be held accountable for the damage caused by twenty two years who know that they are always right. I've never seen a single kid spanked on any episode. I know that sounds like crazy talk. It's not that crazy.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

When our son was growing up he had to catch his school bus @ 0615 as Luke was one of the first on the bus. It was a mixture of all grades so he rode the bus thru school. He got up @ 0400 so that he could take care of his 20 rabbits [4H] which took him some time. Every year our son won locally and went to state. When he was last home I asked him how hard basic/jump school was. Luke said basic was easy as he was use to getting up early and the Army let him sleep later! He said that it was amusing to hear the other pvt's complain about how hard it was. Our son LOVES to run and run and run so this was easy for him. The hard part was the 50 mile marches with full gear.
Much of our society is like the pvt's that Luke trained with and much grumbling will insure. Yesterday I had my third injection into my eyeball, many would complain about how painful is was and so forth. After chemo/radiation the injection did not phase me! It is going to be interesting to observe what our society is going to be like in the coming month as this new administration comes to terms with a falling economy, pandemic and general complaining/blaming.

An illegitimacy rate of 40% nationwide, children that are being used as "meal tickets", 48 years of "the woman's right to choose" has given us a generation-several generations-of men who reject the role of protector and provider, schools that are simply daycare centers for irresponsible parents......

During the '60s, they told us, "It's for the children." That's how the Great Society was sold to the people. There are more children being raised in poverty now than there were in those days -- and our answer is to keep doing the same thing, but do it harder.

                slightly off topic,,

The Woman's Right to Chose, is no different now than 'He will cut your Social Security Benefits' or other catch phrases,

both and more are brought out every election cycle and scare tactics to get some to think less of a candidate,

                neither will ever change,
the Right to Choose is a horse that is soo far out the stable, ,that it is several counties away and still running,

the SSC benefits thing,, with the increasing number of Boomers collecting,, that would be off the tables too for any candidate,,,

                yet they still persist

Yes, and we will continue to live in a society where the majority of children grow up fatherless with men who see the obligation to raise and support children as belonging solely to the mother. While the rest of us are taxed for welfare, lousy schools, etc.

He asked me if he should drop out of school. I told him no. He called me a son-of-a-bitch and told me I couldn't tell him what to do.
He asked me if he should take drugs. I told him no. He called me a son-of-a-bitch and told me I couldn't tell him what to do.
He asked me if he should get his girlfriend pregnant. I told him no. He called me a son-of-a-bitch and told me I couldn't tell him what to do.
He asked me if he should support his illegitimate children. I told him yes. He called me a son-of-a-bitch and told me I couldn't tell him what to do.

Now he has no job, his mind is clouded, he has half-a-dozen children by several mothers, who he doesn't support and he calls me a son-of-a-bitch because I don't pay enough taxes to support him in the manner he thinks he deserves.

                        All this grumbling ....

good thing four years of Trump, along with the help of 2 years of House and Senate , have solved all our problems .

All I want to know is why I still can't get a vaccination to protect me from a fake Chinese Flu while I live in the most advanced nation on earth ....

even though we have it it seems we aren't efficient enough to distribute it. Warp Speed my ass

50 states all scrambling to hire the same 15 vaccination experts? Would have been way better had the feds put out blueprints for each state to use, along with implementation advisors, and some funds. If the feds are paying for the vaccine they should be willing to cover that investment all the way into arms, in my opinion.
