If Biden has any savvy left, he'll pardon Trump ...

He's going to inherit a country very much divided with a
huge percentage of the population believing he came
into the Presidency by illegitimate means. He'll certainly
have enough problems on his plate without having to
witness the unrest that will inevitably come if Trump is
persecuted by a disgruntled bunch of his cohorts. It
won't sit well with them but the pardon would go a long
way in settling the country down. It might also earn him
some brownie points, points he'll sorely need when he
has to tackle a faltering economy, a runaway plague and
    an increasingly belligerent China.

I would reckon he will do the same as Trump did to Hillary,

promise to prosecute, then do nothing,

besides, Biden would be strung up by a good part of the left if he did,
and he would not look too swell blaming someone he pardoned

So it seems we are all in agreement here finally...... Trump is guilty of something that "needs" to be pardoned for.

As far as the people who believe Trump on the voter fraud , or anything ..... when do they realize they're gullible and have been taken like a rube by a N.Y. City slick ... ?

What can the transactional Trump offer in exchange for such a pardon? Nothing of value is free.

Biden wouldn't be doing it for Trump, he'd be doing it for his own interests.
And don't forget he's already said he doesn't want to prosecute. What
better way to ensure that than a pardon ?

Biden has already said he won't pardon Trump, so that's that.

I expect Trump might be indicted, after all he was impeached for almost nothing. The hatred of him by his enemies is irrational and they'll use any weapon available against him. There is an old lawyer's saying you can indict a ham sandwich. What I would worry about if I was Donald Trump is that he would probably be indicted and tried in D.C.

I think honestly that if this storming the Capitol had happened three months ago Trump would have been impeached and his chances of being convicted would have been a lot higher than last time.

Well, its more serious than talking to a Ukrainian. If Trump's impeached and tried after he leaves office the motivation will be to keep him from running for office again.

Lord, he's not going to run again. Of course he might threaten to.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

He has actually said he intends to run in 2024 if he lost this time. After all this I think I'd want to do other stuff with what's left of my life but I'm not him.

Running or being in any political office is just for greed and power! If you always thought lawyers were greedy or crooked then you haven't looked at the politicians.

While I agree with you generally on politicians, I can name one politician who actually LOST money while in office, and gave away his salary.
