so says the left (and we know they have a truth deficiency)

folks (media and some gov't) have got their TDS turned up to 11, when it would be better for all to just shut up and get on with maybe actually governing,

question is , we have had 4 yrs of OMB,.,, lets do nothing but talk about OMB,,

so what is going to happen the next 4,,,,

The basic facts are not in dispute. The audience of his speech did proceed down the mall and forcibly enter the Capitol. Every single person? Of course not but that's not the point. His people did it after he riled them up.

There was some rile to begin with. Trump said stick with me and my basic ideas. He did not say, attack anything. Correct me. Hey, Trump found the time to go to Texas and look at 400 miles of wall that he built. Commendable. Sad that it is necessary. I'm amazed that it is that long.

No indication that Trump was horrified by what was going down at the Capitol at the worst. So release of belated perfunctory vids telling people to go home does not absolve him of responsibility. 25th Amendment would be justified, IMO. Failing that, 14th Amendment to bar him from future Federal office. The kind of plain text reading of the Constitution that a Conservative Jurist loves.

your side is all butthurt that it happened,

but as Dryheat says, read the transcript of what he said,

the rest (14th/25th etc) is histronics, drama and posturing,
and now the parts of the world that have not really liked Trump are coming out and saying the wokeness in all this is wrong, (facebook/twitter etc)

this has been a huge over reaction by the left, cause ,, feelings

                Transcripts are dry.

Why anyone ISN'T bothered by what happened at the Capitol, doubt there's a good explanation for that.

We got just one US Capitol. It's a symbol of our country. So I'm told that when Colin Kaepernick kneeled before the flag, it's infinitely worse than MAGA hats overrunning the Capitol, even carrying the ANV battle flag through it.

The symbolism argument cuts both ways. But sure, just read the transcript, Trump word salad stripped of all the emotion. It's a feeble defense, in my opinion.

it is a feeble reason to go all in on wokeness and start wasting more time and money on banning him here, banning him there, and threatening anyone that worked for him or even thinks right of center, with loss of income, and worse,,,,

what you are failing to understand is that mentality, (wokeness/doxxing/cancel culture) is what the bad guys in history have always done,

                  Stalin,
                  Hitler
                  Mao
                  Pol Pot,,

                  and it never ended well,

Are you sticking up for Colin Kaepernick kneeing?

And why should anyone object to the Democrat Battle Flag being carried into a building that has a majority of Democrat politicians?

I'm pointing out that someone could write the meme:

                          I stand for the flag,
                          kneel for the cross,
                          riot at the capitol.

Blatant inconsistency is not a good look. Someone complains about their symbols being disrespected, then proceeds to disrespect other symbols of equal importance.

To that end, imagine someone waving an ANV battle flag in the halls of the US capitol in 1864. Question is whether the waver in 2021 was really of all that different a mind. If they find him maybe they'll ask him.
