Capitol protest: Is it just me or...???

News non stop with left wing reactions ever since the protest went "wrong".
Is it just me or have they missed the crux of what led up to it? Half the country pissed off at Dem polices, political correctness, and people being punished in a sense to advance the goals of others.

All the current wrangling seems to be setting a precedence aimed towards something larger. Seeing to it nothing like that ever happens again. People unable to stand up to a government gone or going rogue. Eliminating the basic fundamentals of the Second Amendment.

Noticing something isn't paranoia or conspiracy. Its simply taking note of surroundings to the point of soliciting the opinions of others. At least for now it is.

Not everyday that happens to the US Capitol. And the stories that are coming out...foot dragging in the Pentagon while the Capitol Police chief is pleading for reinforcements...there are questions that deserve answers.

Why did I suspect you would be among the first to reply? LOL

The LE agencies are doing what they must. All of us expect that. Politicians all the way down to local offices. I'm going by what I'm hearing from them, and how the networks are giving them air time on a daily basis. An aide to a Chicago alderman who wasn't there....gimme a break!

Liberals never let the facts get in the way of their push for absolute power using propaganda...

          The facts....

Remember in 2011 when tens of thousands of Democrats surged on the Wisconsin Capitol building in Madison and physically occupied it for more than two weeks? We were told, "This is what democracy looks like."

Remember in 2016 when Obama was President and hundreds of BLM blocked interstate highways and violently accosted police (even killing several)? We were told, "To assign the actions of one person to an entire movement is dangerous and irresponsible."

Remember in 2018 during the Kavanaugh hearings when a mob of Democrats stormed the U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington, DC, and pounded their fists in rage on the door. We were told, "It's understandable."

Remember this summer's riots in major cities across the country when groups of Democrats marched in the streets, set buildings on fire, looted businesses, assaulted and even killed bystanders and police? We were told, "These are mostly peaceful protests."

Remember when Democrats seized several blocks of the Capitol Hill neighborhood in downtown Seattle, declaring it an autonomous zone? Remember the guns ad deaths and utter destruction? We were told, "It's a block party atmosphere."

Remember when a crazed mob gathered after the Republican National Convention and attacked Rand Paul, a sitting U.S. Senator? We were told, "No justice, no peace."

Remember how police were told to stand down, governors refused to call in the national guard, and Democrats paid bail for violent protesters who were arrested?

I remember all that but the occupation of the Madison Capitol had slipped my mind until you reminded me. The double standard which has been noticed only by the downtrodden members of our society. The tax paying conservatives of lighter toned skin.

Do you see what is happening now as building leverage towards something larger?

Yes there are questions that must be answered but we wil never hear the answers to those questions. Here are some of mine. Why do rich peoples beach houses on the gulf coast have better windows then the peoples house? We have have impact resistant windows for a long time on the coast. Why does Best Buy and many other retail stores have roll down gates on their entrances and the peoples house doesn't? Why did the guy have to break a window with a riot shield when the cops were just opening the doors down the ways a bit? I could go on and on. Where were the DC Guardsmen that were called up before the rally? MSN hit it on the head. Decision makers didn't think anything would happen because there wasn't a history of violence during a Trump Rally. A list of riots in our history.

we could probably toss in the Occupy movement in that list as well
